The Scout Method is the way we do Scouting. It is an educational framework unique to Scouting that consists of eight elements which work together as a system to provide young people with a rich and active learning environment.

Scout Method
The Scout Method Support document explains the different aspects of the Scout Method –
- An educational system of interdependent elements
- Group Life
- The eight elements of the Scout Method
- How the Scout Method is adapted for each section
- How the use of the Scout Method varies for each section

Promises Posters
The Promises Posters contains the different versions of the Promises for each section and are created with a dyslexia-friendly font.
They are designed in A2 format, so that you can print out large copies that can be placed on the walls of your Scout Den. You can also print smaller A4 versions that youth members can read when reciting their Promise.

Inclusive Investitures
The Inclusive Investitures guide aims to help with ensuring that investiture ceremonies are open and accessible to all.
Investitures are big milestones in scouting for our young people and our adults alike and it is important that the tone is right as well as the environment. This guide provides a checklist for sections and groups to use to ensure all young people are supported in the ceremony.
